BREAST AUMGENTATION WITH OWN FAT
The technique of autologous fat transfer is used in breast augmentation surgeries and reconstructions of breasts after mastectomy. Stem cells improve the survival of the adipose tissue in breasts. The method is little invasive and does not leave any scars, so the duration of convalescence is extremely short. Breasts remain soft, which is essentially different from the technique of transplanting silicone implants, which are hard and need to be changed couple times in a lifetime. Here, fat stays in breasts for the rest of the life. One or two treatments provide satisfying effects.
Breast augmentation allows to fill small or poorly developed breasts.
Surgery is performed in following cases:
- when the patient has a feeling, that the breasts are too small
- when breasts loose their shape, flexibility or become smaller after childbirth
- alignment of the size of both breasts
- congenital breast asymmetry
Additionally, the patient can get rid of excess fat on her thighs, stomach or hips, thereby improving her figure. Through small stabs, using a cannula, we inject the fat tissue subcutaneously, to model the breast around the nipple and to achieve the desirable breast appearance.
Anesthesia: Treatment under general anesthesia.
Duration: about 1.5 hour.
Convalescence: It is recommended for the patient after the surgery to wear a suitable bra, which she will receive at the Clinic. The patient should wear it for 14 days, 24 hours a day. The patient should also limit excessive physical activity.
Breast augmentation is safe and after surgery complications appear rarely. One of possible complications is fat loss or a slight asymmetry.
